Argentina | Individual tax returns deadlines
Summary
On June 6th, 2024, the tax authority published the new deadline extension for income tax, cedular tax, and wealth tax for individuals and undivided estates, for the fiscal year 2023.
The detail
The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) extended the deadline and confirmed the new due dates for the filing of individual tax obligations, including income tax, cedular tax, and wealth tax returns and, if applicable, the respective tax payment for FY 2023
General Resolution No. 5516/2024 established the following due dates based on tax ID (CUIT) number:

| 0, 1, 2, and | Up to 26/08/2024 inclusive |
| 4, 5, and 6 | Up to 27/08/2024 inclusive |
| 7, 8, and 9 | Up to 28/08/2024 inclusive |
The original was in June.
Once the trial period for the tax systems is completed, the software application to submit the annual tax returns mentioned above will be made available to taxpayers.
In line with the Tax Reform Project sent by the National Executive Branch to the Congress, which was passed by the Chamber of Deputies and is now under consideration in the Senate, the AFIP is implementing the necessary measures that will have a tax impact in FY 2023.
