Argentina | Resolution 5516/2024: extended deadlines for 2023 individual income and personal property taxes gazetted
Summary
Argentina’s federal tax agency, AFIP, has announced personal income tax and personal assets tax return filing deadlines for the 2023 tax period.
The detail
The deadlines were set out in General Resolution No. 5,516/2024 as follows:
– August 26, 2024, inclusive, for taxpayers whose tax identification number (CUIT) ends in 0, 1, 2, or 3;
– August 27, 2024, inclusive for taxpayers whose tax identification number ends in 4, 5, or 6; or
– August 28, 2024, inclusive for taxpayers whose tax identification number ends in 7, 8, or 9.
AFIP has confirmed that the online filing services for both the personal income tax return and personal assets tax return are now available.
